El Paso officer injured after trying to prevent thief from fleeing outside of Walmart
05/15/23 - El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association An El Paso police officer was injured after he was trying to prevent a thief from fleeing outside a Walmart in northeast El Paso. The incident happened Saturday around 9:25 a.m. at the Walmart located at 5632 Dyer. An 11-year-old veteran officer was working extra duty security at Walmart when a man walked out of the store without paying for some items. The items were valued at over $300. |
